At least we didn't get the snow that was called for yesterday but for all the wind we had, the trails are not really in that bad a shape. The city started plowing the trail and then...stopped?. Oh well, such is life. Dress warm and keeps the walks short for the next couple of days.

The trails are in fine shape. It is to get warm this week so please keep of the ice in the quarry. I've seen people have been on it and some snow cleared away for skating. It is not strong enough to support any weight on it.

Boo.... Happy Halloween all! Be careful walking down the trails today. They are very icy with the warmer air and the strong winds today. There are a few trees down along the trails. I don't expect a lot of kids tonight but be aware that this is a very stressful time for the dogs.

That was a heck of a wind storm yesterday! We went from +30' to a snow warning in a week! Life on the prairies keeps you hopping and guessing. I only saw a few downed trees on the trails but the tent that has been put up for the gas line on Farmers Road has seen better days.

I have been away for awhile so I have not been down the trails. I walked out to the small field and was eaten so we are out in the Big Field! There was a few muddy sections along the trail going out there. I saw yesterday that the City relocated the picnic table under the pine tress in the field. We are to be getting another one out there at some point. No word yet on the bathroom opening.

All the trees are in full bloom. Looks like there is going to be a crop of Saskatoon's this year. We need a good steady rain though. I'm afraid we are going to get everything in one shot, but maybe not with the Red River Ex not operating this year! The middle main trail is the only bad trail.

A little bit of rain and everything in greening up nicely. The Saskatoon bushes are in bloom and the smell of the Cottonwoods is starting to fill the air. The inside middle trails are still water logged so plan your route.
